This dry Riesling is fruity and light, with good acidity. Brilliantly clear, and very expressive on the nose, with aromas of peach, orange blossom, tangeriene, lemon, grapefruit, and a hint of petrol. Many of these fruits continue on the palate, along with green apple, lime zest, and a hint of thyme.
The grapes were hand harvested from 27-year old vines from Yamhill Vineyard. The fruit was destemmed and soaked overnight, then the berries were pressed. The juice settled, then underwent a cool tank fermentation, and aged until bottling the following spring.
