2014 Muller-Thurgau Estate
Classic fruity/floral aroma profile, including orange blossom, gardenia, lychee, peach, apricot, and ripe pear, with a hint of minerality. On the palate, this soft and light, off-dry wine has a nice tangy acidity. Flavors include starfruit, honeysuckle, crabapple, Asian pear, grapefruit, and clover honey. Great balance with a burst of fruit up front, with a lift in the midpalate, and finishing dry with some length.
From vines planted 1986-1988
The fruit was hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed and the juice settled overnight. The juice was then racked and fermented cool in a stainless steel tank. When primary fermentation was complete, the wine was aged in stainless steel for 5 months then bottled.
