10 months in 50/50 stainless and neutral French oak
2014 Pinot Gris Kimberley's Reserve
Aromas of tropical fruit, green apple, and a whisp of dandelion are followed by pineapple on the palate, with a burst of lively acidity in the mid palate, and spicy fresh ginger in the back, with a long finish.
The grapes were harvested by hand and gently whole cluster pressed. The juice settled overnight, and then was racked to neutral oak and stainless steel barrels for primary fermentation. After fermentation was complete, the wine aged on the lees for ten months until bottling.
