18 months in 25% new French oak barrels
2014 Pinot Noir Heritage
Aromas of anise cherry cola, candied and black cherries, with hints of clove. On the palate, the cherry cola and baking spices continue, along with red cherry notes. Bright acidity in the mid-palate, and a very long finish.

The grapes were harvested by hand and destemmed 1.5-ton bins. After a 4-day cold soak, fermentation began. The vats were pumped over and punched down twice daily until dry, then pressed. The wine settled overnight, then racked to 25% new French oak barrels for 18 months to age until bottling.
