2015 Pinot Gris Estate
Citrus, pear, and flinty aromatics with hint of spearmint. Red skinned apple and pear on the palate, with honeyed notes, crisp, bright acidity, and a tart, citrusy finish.
Our Pinot Gris is sourced from two blocks--Main, planted 1986-1988, and the House block, planted in 1992. These older vines produce crops that are consistently ripe with complex flavor and aroma.
The grapes were harvested by hand, sorted in the field and whole cluster pressed. The juice settled overnight and then racked to a stainless steel tank for a cool primary fermentation. After fermentation was complete the wine aged on the lees until bottling.
