2016 Celebrate Grüner Veltliner
On the nose, this wine is quite floral, with jasmine, lavender, and clover, punctuated by hints of white pepper, Meyer lemon, grapefruit, and cucumber. Bright and fresh on the palate, with delicate, fine bubbles and chalky minerality. Flavors of lemon and lime, white peach, green apple, and orange blossoms with a hint of mango in the mid palate and a lingering finish.
From estate vines planted in 2010
The grapes were harvested by hand, whole cluster pressed, and fermented in stainless. To sparkle, the wine was transferred to a high pressure tank, and the pressure was slowly raised over five days until the ideal levels were achieved.
