2014 Chardonnay Estate
50/50 stainless and French oak barrels
The grapes were harvested by hand and whole cluster pressed. The juice settled overnight, then was racked to a stainless steel tank for fermentation. When primary was complete, the wine was racked to 50% French oak barrels and 50% stainless barrels for aging, undergoing partial malolactic, with minimal lees stirring. The wine aged on the lees until bottling the following September.
