2014 Pinot Noir Dijon 115
90 points!
The Dijon 115 clone of Pinot Noir is one of the most widely planted and highly sought after due to its early ripening, moderate yields, and reputation for producing high quality wines with elegance and finesse. Pinots with this clone tend to be more purple in tone, have an expressive bouquet, berry fruit flavors, and excellent structure for cellaring.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Aromas of cranberry, violet, and cola. On the palate, this youthful, old world style wine, light acidity and integrated tannins, easy on the palate with a nice earthiness punctuated by pie cherries and plums.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were harvested by hand and 75% destemmed. The fruit underwent a 5-day cold soak. After fermentation began, the must was pumped over and punched down twice daily until dry and pressed. The wine settled in a tank overnight, and was then racked to 25% new French oak barrels to age for 13 months until bottling.
