Tasting Notes
Aromas of raspberry and rose lead into a mouthful of darker fruits--black raspberry, cherries, boysenberries, and plums. There's some earthiness, black tea, and baking spice here too, with youthful tannins that bode well for this wine's future.

Estate vines planted in 2001; 781 ft. elevation, Willakenzie soils
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were harvested by hand and 75% destemmed. The fruit underwent a 5-day cold soak. After fermentation began, the must was pumped over and punched down twice daily until dry and pressed. The wine settled in a tank overnight, and was then racked to neutral French oak barrels to age for 18 months until bottling.
