This 2015 Pinot Noir, crafted from the Pommard clone, showcases our ongoing exploration of clonal selection and its impact on wine expression. Fermented with 25% whole clusters and aged for 18 months in neutral French oak, this wine presents a vibrant color with minimal bricking, defying its age. The nose is beautifully fragrant, offering a bouquet of dried cranberries, pickling spices, raspberries, and a hint of black pepper. The palate is balanced, reflecting the clone’s signature structure and depth, with an elegant finish that lingers with spice and fruit.

Winemaker Notes
The grapes were harvested by hand and 75% destemmed. The fruit underwent a 5-day cold soak. After fermentation began, the must was pumped over and punched down twice daily until dry and pressed. The wine settled in a tank overnight, and was then racked to neutral French oak barrels to age for 18 months until bottling.
