2018 Pinot Noir – Rebecca’s Reserve
A standout 2018 vintage from our most limited estate block
The 2018 Rebecca’s Reserve is the rarest Pinot in our cellar—crafted from a one-acre block planted in 1992 to Pommard and Dijon 115. With close vine spacing and shallow soils, this block produces low yields and concentrated fruit with natural structure and complexity. Fermented with a mix of whole clusters and destemmed fruit, this wine offers a layered profile of red cherry, raspberry, spice, and earth. Aged 18 months in neutral French oak and bottled unfined and unfiltered, it’s a true reflection of site, vintage, and restraint. Only 50 cases were made—and just 4 remain. A must-have for collectors and Pinot lovers.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Aromas of cherry, raspberry, clove, and forest floor lead into flavors of dark red fruit, mushroom, anise, and spice. Medium-bodied with smooth tannins, bright acidity, and a long, mineral-laced finish.
Vineyard Notes
Rebecca’s Block was planted in 1992 to Pommard and Dijon 115 clones. With vines spaced 4x4 feet and a tractor break every fourth row, this high-density planting naturally limits yields and encourages flavor concentration. Shallow soils further stress the vines, amplifying site expression.
Production Notes
50 cases produced. Fermented in small lots with 50% whole clusters. Aged 18 months in neutral French oak. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
Winemaker Notes
Hand-harvested and 50% destemmed, the fruit underwent a 6-day cold soak before fermentation with daily punch-downs and pump-overs. Aged for 18 months in neutral French oak and bottled without fining or filtration.
Food Pairing Notes
Pair with duck breast, wild mushroom risotto, pork tenderloin, or truffle-infused dishes. Aged cheeses like Gruyère and Fontina also highlight the wine’s earthy, savory complexity.
