Grüner Veltliner may be best known in Austria, but it’s right at home in our Yamhill-Carlton vineyard. Planted in 2010 at nearly 770 ft elevation, these estate vines produce a crisp, linear white with lively acidity and layered complexity.
The 2019 vintage is elegant and mineral-driven, with aromas of cucumber, green apple, and honeydew. On the palate, it bursts with citrus, white pepper, and river rock. Aged on the lees in stainless steel, this wine has gained poise and subtle texture with time in bottle.

Tasting Notes
Aromas of cucumber, honeydew, and green apple lead to a dry, refreshing palate of lemon, lime, and tart orchard fruit. The finish is long and crisp, with white pepper and river stone minerality.

Production Notes
100 cases produced. 12.2% ABV. 0.2 g/L residual sugar. Stainless steel fermented and aged.
Winemaker Notes
Hand-harvested, whole-cluster pressed, and cold-settled overnight. Fermented at cool temperatures in stainless steel, then aged on the fine lees until spring. Lightly fined with bentonite and sterile filtered at bottling.
Food Pairing Notes
A go-to for asparagus, artichokes, and other bitter greens. Pairs beautifully with seared scallops, smoked ham, sushi, Thai dishes, and fresh cheeses like chèvre or mozzarella.
