2019 Pinot Noir – Rebecca’s Reserve

			Single-block Pinot with age-worthy structure

The 2019 Rebecca’s Reserve is a refined, cellar-worthy Pinot Noir from our one-acre estate block planted in 1992. With high-density vine spacing and shallow soils, Rebecca’s Block consistently delivers concentrated fruit with deep site expression. The 2019 growing season was cooler and slightly damp, resulting in a more restrained, structured wine. Fermented with 50% whole clusters and aged in neutral French oak for 18 months, it’s layered with red and black fruit, baking spice, and savory earth. Now showing beautiful complexity, this vintage will reward further cellaring. Only 50 cases produced—just 7 remain.

		Tasting Notes
Aromas of cherry, raspberry, and baking spice lead into flavors of black cherry, plum, and dried herbs. With velvety tannins and a smooth finish, the wine evolves with air, revealing subtle notes of earth, tobacco, and dried fruit.
		Vineyard Notes
Rebecca’s Block was planted in 1992 using a 4x4 high-density spacing strategy inspired by Burgundy. This block’s tight spacing increases vine stress and intensifies fruit character, producing wines with structure, depth, and longevity.
		Production Notes
50 cases produced from Rebecca’s Block, planted in 1992. 50% whole cluster fermented, aged 18 months in neutral French oak. Bottled with sterile filtration for cellar stability.
		Winemaker Notes
Hand-harvested and 50% whole cluster fermented in small lots using a combination of native and cultured yeast. Aged 18 months in neutral French oak. Bottled with a sterile filtration to support long-term aging. Only two barrels (50 cases) produced.
		Food Pairing Notes
Pairs beautifully with wild mushroom risotto, roasted duck, grilled pork tenderloin, or aged cheeses like Fontina and Gruyère. Elegant and versatile for both special occasions and quiet evenings.
