Big Bubble Bash!

December 19 @ 11:00 am – 3:30 pm

Pouring estate sparkling wine at the Kramer Vineyards Big Bubble Bash event

Taste Estate Bubbles at the Big Bubble Bash!

Traditional-Method Depth Meets Modern Celebrate Energy

Sparkle by day. Stock up for New Year’s. Join us for the annual Big Bubble Bash, the one day we pour every sparkling wine we make. On the Saturday before Christmas, we open the house and pour them all, side by side, at the Grand Bar — a dozen in all. It’s an open tasting: work your way down the bar at your own pace, and talk sparkling with the people who made it.

The traditional-method wines — second fermentation in the bottle, time on the lees — bring texture and depth. The Celebrate wines take a modern, carbonated route built for fruit purity and bright energy—different paths to the bubbles, all from one estate.

Kramer has made sparkling wine since 2001, and by the traditional method — with its second fermentation in the bottle — since 2009. It’s a style the Yamhill-Carlton AVA is quietly built for: the same cool hillsides that give our Pinot Noir its lift give our sparkling wines their backbone.

  • The Vibe — Settle in and stay as long as you like. Timed arrivals keep the space lively, energetic, and never crowded.
  • The Room — Pull up a chair in the tasting hall, or bundle up and head outside — the fire bowl’s lit and the fire tables are going. On a clear December afternoon, it’s worth the trip out to hold your glass by the fire.
  • The Food — Light snacks included—Charcuterie and baked brie available for purchase.
  • The Dress Code — Sequins encouraged; boots welcome.
  • Who’s Welcome — Tasting is 21+, and non-drinking guests (especially DDs) are welcome without an extra fee.

Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes. Reserve a timed arrival so we can keep the bar lively and never crowded. Once you’re in, stay as long as you like.

How much time do I have for the tasting?

As long as you want it to. Your reservation holds an arrival time; from there, work down the bar at your own pace.

What will you be pouring?

Around a dozen of our sparkling wines, side by side — traditional-method and modern styles. The final lineup comes together closer to the date.

Is food included?

Light snacks are included. Charcuterie and baked brie are available for purchase.

Can I bring a designated driver or someone who isn’t drinking?

Always! Tasting is for guests 21 and over, but non-drinking guests are welcome alongside you — no ticket required. We’ll make sure there’s a spot by the fire.

There’s a dress code?

None at all. Some guests love an excuse to break out the sequins, and we’re all for it — but come however you’re comfortable. Cozy and casual are just as welcome at the bar.

What if it snows and the roads close?

If the roads become unsafe, we’ll email simple rescheduling and refund options right away. Book with confidence.

Can I bring wine home?

Absolutely. Taste your way through, find your favorites, and take home the bottles for your own New Year’s toast.

Is there a wine club member price?

Yes — wine club members pay just $25 per seat, for up to 4 seats per member. The member price applies automatically when you’re signed in to your wine club account at booking — no code needed.
