Kramer Vineyards in Oregon Wine Country - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sparkling Wines west of Portland
30 Years of Oregon Winegrowing in Yamhill-Carlton
In 1983 Trudy and Keith Kramer acquired their 60 acre property in the Yamhill-Carlton appellation, eventually planting 22 acres of vines. Along with their daughter and winemaker Kim Kramer, we specialize in estate-focused Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and sparkling wines.
This February, we celebrate American Heart Month and Valentine's Day by raising a glass of Cardiac Hill Pinot Noir! A unique parcel in our vineyard of just over one acre, this site typically produces enough fruit for us to make a few barrels each harvest. Planted in 1995, Cardiac Hill has tested us over the years--thin topsoil, dramatic slope, and its position on the south edge of our vineyard make these vines vulnerable to hungry deer and birds. We were patient with the slow to mature vines, and in 2005, we began bottling a single-block Pinot Noir from Cardiac Hill.
Taste six vintages of Pinot Noir from Cardiac Hill, including the highly rated 2016 vintage, at this guided tasting hosted by owner and vintner Keith Kramer. Learn the history of the block, vineyard practices, conditions of each vintage, and how our winemaking has evolved over time. This is a seated, formal tasting experience. Sessions begin at 11:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 3:30 pm. Tasting Fee: $25/person, complimentary for Wine Club Members and up to four guests (the discount is automatically applied once logged in). Reservations recommended.
