Kramer Vineyards in Oregon Wine Country - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sparkling Wines west of Portland

30 Years of Oregon Winegrowing

Kramer Vineyards, one of Oregon’s early wineries celebrates 30 years of growing in Oregon’s Yamhill-Carlton region.

Since first purchasing its 60-acre property in 1983 and with 22-acres of wine grapes planted, owners Keith and Trudy Kramer along with their daughter and winemaker, Kim Kramer have grown Kramer Vineyards to one of the top sparkling producers in Oregon.

Come taste our Growler Wines in Gaston

We are featuring Kramer Vineyards' 2014 Pinot Gris Estate, classically bright and crisp, with a focused apple and pear profile, typical of this variety from our site. Price - $18.
For the red, we’ve selected a barrel of 2014 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton; a blend from our estate vineyard and old vine Pommard clone from Yamhill Vineyard. After tasting through the 2014s, this unique barrel stood out to us. The combination of accessible cherry/raspberry fruit, exotic spices, balance on the palate, and tannin roundness made this an obvious and exciting prospect for this release. Price - $28.

Featured Event: Cardiac Hill Vertical Tasting

Saturday and Sunday, February 20 and 21, 2016

This February, we celebrate American Heart Month and Valentine's Day by raising a glass of Cardiac Hill Pinot Noir. A unique block in our vineyard, just over one acre, this site typically produces enough fruit for us to make just 100 cases of Pinot Noir each vintage. This hillside has tested us over the years--thin topsoil, dramatic slope, and its position on the south edge of our vineyard make these vines vulnerable to hungry deer and birds.
Taste six vintages of Pinot Noir from our Cardiac Hill block at this guided tasting hosted by owner and vintner Keith Kramer. Learn the history of the block, vineyard practices, conditions of each vintage, and how our winemaking has evolved over time. This is a seated, formal tasting experience.
Tasting Fee: $15/person, complimentary for Wine Club Members and up to four guests
