We grow nine clones of Pinot Noir at our estate vineyard. We observe many differences between the clones in the field, from cluster shape to skin thickness, ripening time, etc. The most important difference? The flavor! To understand this, we felt it was necessary to produce a series of single clone Pinots and taste them periodically. This set includes five single-clone wines from the 2017 vintage, along with the multi-blend clone Pinot Noir Estate for comparison.
