2016 Brut Rosé
August 29, 2016
November 2017; Disgorged September 2018
Bursting with aromas of tangerine, Rainier cherry, and strawberry, this dry rose is nicely balanced, with bright acidity and minerality.
Pinot Noir 72%, Pinot Meunier 28%
The grapes were harvested by hand, sorted, and destemmed. After a four-day cold soak, the grapes were pressed. The juice settled overnight, and was racked to stainless for primary fermentation. After fermentation was complete, the wine was racked off the heavy lees and aged in stainless until bottling the following autumn. The wine aged in tirage bins until September 2018, and was disgorged and finished without dosage.
