Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Aromas of melon, apricot, cucumber, honey and white flowers. On the palate, there's a nice tang with lemon and lime citrus, elderberry, a hint of stony minerality in the midpalate, and a long finish.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were harvested by hand, sorted, and whole cluster pressed. The juice settled overnight, and was racked to stainless for cool fermentation. When fermentation was complete, the wine was racked off the heavy lees and aged until bottling the following spring.
Food Pairing Notes
Serve chilled as an aperitif, or with mild cheeses, light white fish or shellfish dishes, or curries.

I remember when we were first introduced to Kramer's Mueller-Thurgau, we were impressed by the subtle flavors and immediately thought of Thanksgiving Turkey. For over a decade every year we have celebrated Thanksgiving with Kramer Mueller-Thurgau.

The most challenging aspect of this wine is learning how to pronounce it and spell it, drinking it is easy. It is perfect for turkey or chicken based meals and even makes a great aperitif. As good as this wine is (we often buy it by the case), the real treat is the sparkling version but that is another story and another review.
