2017 Pinot Noir Blanc
5 months in neutral French oak barrels
Very pale in the glass, with aromas of pear, honeydew melon, baked apple, and hints of beeswax and white flowers. On the palate, this wine is nicely rounded, with a citrusy acidity that bursts in the midpalate. Flavors of honey and kiwi linger.
October 2018 Winner: Cellar Select! Jasmine, vanilla, custard and light strawberry make for an inviting, pretty nose. Quite dry on first impression, the wine offers fruity-sweet bits of honeydew and cherry in the mid-palate. Toasted almond joins the mix, and all flavors extend over a smooth, round finish with balanced, pleasant acidity.
From estate vines planted in the mid-1980s
The grapes were harvested by hand, sorted, and pressed. The juice settled overnight, then was racked to neutral French oak barrels for fermentation. When fermentation was complete, the wine was racked, blended, and the heavy lees were discarded. The wine aged in barrels until bottling the following spring.

Most people think of Pinot Noir as a delicate red wine and Kramer's Pinot Noirs (red) are the best I have tasted anywhere in the world and I have traveled extensively throughout Western Europe. What a hidden treasure is Kramer's Pinot Noir Blanc. Without the tannins from the skins, the Pinot Noir Blanc is a light, crisp white wine that works great as an appetizer or with spicy food. Especially on warm summer day, I love sipping on a chilled glass of Pinot Noir Blanc. Until I tasted Kramer's Pinot Noir Blanc my summer wine of choice was Pinot Gris but now I prefer Pinot Noir Blanc.
