2020 Brut Vintage Cuvée – 45 Months en Tirage
Traditional Method Sparkling · First Disgorgement · 80 Cases

Vibrant & Mineral-Driven

Limited Release: March 2025 Disgorgement

The 2020 Brut Vintage Cuvée captures the cool-climate tension of the Willamette Valley. With 45 months on the lees, this wine is in a "sweet spot" of development—retaining the electric primary fruit of the vintage while beginning to show the first layers of biscuit and almond complexity. The Chardonnay-dominant blend (51%) ensures a linear, focused backbone.

The Profile: This is a structured and focused sparkling wine. Aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and wet stone dominate the nose. The palate is tense and energetic, with a fine bead that carries the mineral finish long after the sip.

Disgorgement March 2025 (80 Cases)

Winemaker's Perspective

"The 2020 vintage produced wines with remarkable focus. At 45 months, this cuvée is vibrant and refreshing—perfect for oysters or as an aperitif. It has the structure to age, but it is showing beautifully right now." — Kimberley Kramer

Service Recommendation: Serve at 45–50°F. The vibrant acidity of this vintage shines when served well-chilled.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Driven by 51% Chardonnay, this vintage Brut offers aromas of Granny Smith apple, lemon zest, and wet stone. The 45 months en tirage adds a subtle layer of almond and brioche, but the primary impression is one of energy and tension. The finish is crisp and saline.
Vineyard Notes
Sourced from estate blocks of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier grown on marine sedimentary soils in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. Vines range from 640 to 780 feet in elevation and include terraced slopes that retain afternoon warmth while promoting drainage and acidity retention. Low yields and early harvest timing are key to building tension, finesse, and age-worthiness in the fruit.
Production Notes
51% Chardonnay | 25% Pinot Noir | 24% Pinot Meunier | 5 g/L Dosage

Other Notes
This 2020 vintage is slightly leaner and more focused than the 2019, making it an excellent candidate for long-term cellaring or pairing with raw seafood.
